IOU AN MOU: The White House is trying to get 17 federal agencies to come together on a memorandum of understanding that would commit them to whittling down the environmental review process to two years, a CEQ official said Monday during a session at the Transportation Research Board’s annual meeting. Alex Herrgott, associate director of infrastructure at CEQ, touted the administration’s work on smoothing out permitting reviews “regardless of what happens with the legislative package” on infrastructure.
