YOUR DAILY FAA BILL NEWS FIX: All eyes have been on the Senate for months, but action on the agency’s reauthorization is now back in the House where lawmakers are trying to come up with a bill, pre-approved by Senate leaders, that can pass both chambers with minimum drama. There is still some drama, though: The controversial trucking provision banning states from setting their own meal and rest break rules remains included for now, though Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) seemed open to nixing it earlier this week. Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), however, said Thursday: “That’s gonna stay. I’m really supportive of it, so at this point it’s gonna stay.”
