DOT keeps Elon Musk in the Loop

LOOP THE LOOP: DOT announced a milestone for Musk’s proposed “loop” between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore on Wednesday, our Tanya Snyder reports. The project, which would consist of driverless cars zooming through a tunnel, has completed an environmental assessment that will be available for public comment for 45 days before the agency decides whether a full environmental impact statement is necessary. According to DOT, the proposed station terminals would be on New York Avenue (northwest of Union Station) in D.C. and in Camden Yards in Baltimore.
