The U.S. Postal Service announced it intends to hike prices in October for holiday shipping.
According to a news release published to the organization’s website, the USPS filed a notice this week with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) to temporarily adjust prices for “key package products for the 2022 peak holiday season.”
The news release continues to explain how this adjustment is similar to ones in the past that have helped to “cover extra handling costs to ensure a successful peak season.”
