Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured a charter extension from compatriot offshore contractor Reach Subsea for the multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) Havila Subsea.
The existing contract for the 2011-built vessel, which lasts until the end of this year, has been extended by an additional 12 months via an option Reach had following a deal struck in October 2021.
“We are in the middle of the busiest period in our history, our order backlog is strong, and the tender volume is at all-time high. With the extension of the Havila Subsea contract we further strengthen our fleet capacity for continued long-term growth,” said Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea.
