Crowley Maritime Corp., having recently made news for its Jacksonville-to-Puerto Rico less-than-containerload service, will begin two new weekly routes between Central America and Wilmington, N.C., beginning Nov. 21 and Nov. 22.
The two services will run from Guatemala and Honduras to the Tar Heel State, which the carrier believes will give customers a more “northerly Atlantic Coast destination” for cargo coming from Central America, cutting down on the inbound costs to destinations in the midwestern and northeastern United States.
