The State of Washington’s Department of Enterprise Services awarded Complete Coach Works (CCW) the Electric Heavy-Duty Vehicles Statewide Master Contract.
Using CCW’s Zero Emission Propulsion System (ZEPS) buses allows the conversion of diesel or compressed natural gas buses to all-electric transit buses powered by lithium ion batteries. The conversion allows agencies to reuse a familiar chassis for older buses, while reducing landfill pollution by 10 tons of raw material per bus.
