Shippers and third-party logistics firms continue to add tracking capabilities to monitor freight shipments.
The Kraft Heinz Co. selected FourKites to provide load status and predicted arrival times for goods moving by truck, rail and parcel carriers throughout its supply chain.
“It is critical that our products are delivered on time and transported at the right temperatures,” said Larry Breisinger, head of transportation in North America for The Kraft Heinz Co. in Chicago.
