Port of Seattle One Step Closer to Being Big Ship Ready

The US Port of Seattle has taken another step toward the modernization of the cargo-handling facility at Terminal 5 as the port completed the environmental analysis and prepared the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) on the project.

Being undertaken in an effort to serve larger cargo vessels, the proposed upgrades to Terminal 5 will include wharf rehabilitation, berth deepening, electrical service and improvements to the upland portions of the property.
