Specifically, the conglomerate’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard secured an order from an unnamed U.S. shipowner for two petrochemical product carriers.

The contract is worth USD 74.5 million, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The duo is scheduled for completion in 2019.

Separately, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has been linked to another order from Japanese NYK Line.

According to Asiasis, the Japanese owner has ordered an LNG carrier intended for a charter with EDF LNG Shipping Ltd., a subsidiary of Electricité de France (EDF).
