Virginia’s Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB), a 17-member board charged with approving funding allocations for the state’s transportation system, recently approved the Fiscal Year 2022 budgets for three departments.
CTB approved budgets for the Virginia Department of Transportation, $7.2 billion; the Department of Rail, $860.3 million; and Public Transportation and the Commonwealth Transportation Fund, $16.6 million for the Space Flight Fund, $19.7 million for the Department of Motor Vehicles, $26.7 million for aviation, and $47.8 million for the Port Trust Fund.
