ALL WE KNOW — IT WAS ‘PRODUCTIVE’: President Donald Trump huddled with House Transportation Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) to talk infrastructure Monday. DOT Secretary Elaine Chao and National Economic Council Gary Cohn also attended the meeting, which Shuster had requested. Prepared statements from the White House and the committee called the meeting “productive.” The White House said it “looks forward to working with Rep. Shuster and his colleagues in Congress to turn this vision into legislation next year.” Shuster’s statement said he looks forward to working together to “identify specific proposals and priorities.”
