Volkswagen AG will reportedly unveil an agreement as early as Sept. 6 to obtain a stake in Navistar International Corp. in exchange for supplying engines to the Lisle, Illinois-based truck maker.
According to a number of published stories, Volkswagen has agreed to pay $16 a share or more than $220 million for a stake between approximately 17% and 19.9% of Navistar.
