Senators, airlines briefed on threats to aviation security

DHS officials sat down with security managers from U.S. airlines Thursday to brief them on aviation security threats and a possible extension of a ban on carrying larger electronics into the cabins of U.S.-bound commercial flights. Our Stephanie Beasley has all the details.

Reuters reported that Delta, American and United were the three airlines invited to the briefing. None responded to requests for comment and neither did Airlines for America, which counts American and United as members.
