Boeing eyes early 2020 for 737 MAX return

BOEING SEES COMMERCIAL 737 MAX FLIGHTS IN EARLY 2020: The company on Monday said it believes new pilot training requirements for the MAX will get FAA approval in January, and commercial flights will be able to start after that. Before 2019 is over, Boeing hopes the FAA will approve software changes and overturn the order that has kept the plane grounded, as our Brianna Gurciullo reports. The company could then resume deliveries of the plane. However, before there are flights with paying customers on board, the FAA needs to finalize training requirements, pilots will need to complete that training and airlines will need to prepare their MAX planes for flight after spending months on the ground. Southwest Airlines and American Airlines have removed the MAX from their schedules through the first few days of March.
