BOEING CHAIRMAN STANDS BY CEO: David Calhoun praised Muilenburg on Tuesday, telling CNBC that Boeing’s board of directors hasn’t lost confidence in the executive who lawmakers hammered last week during hearings on the 737 MAX. “From the vantage point of our board, Dennis has done everything right from the beginning,” Calhoun said. Some members of Congress laid into Muilenburg over his pay, and Calhoun said Tuesday that Muilenburg has since suggested that he not take any bonuses for 2019.
