Now that the first day of Infrastructure Week 2.0 has come and gone, all eyes shift to Congress for the heavy lifting. That’s right, lawmakers: You now no longer have the “we’re still waiting for the White House” excuse to move something infrastructure-related. Industry trade groups and their ilk are champing at the bit to get this party started, and boy, will it be a rager — upwards of 11 House and Senate committees may take a crack at writing portions of the plan, depending on if they hew as closely to the broad reach the White House envisions when it thinks of “infrastructure.” Our Brianna Gurciullo and Tanya Snyder pulled together a quick gut check on the plan and its prospects, just in case you need a refresher.
