There are a lot of folks eagerly awaiting the arrival of a Tesla Model 3—our very own Katherine Martino’s husband included. And they may not have to wait too much longer.
As reported in the latest Fully Charged electric car news update (below), the Model 3 is about to start production in July. And Tesla is projecting that it will be producing a whopping 500,000 vehicles per year by the end of 2018. That’s an awful lot of cars. And it’s just one reason why I suspect a recent 91% increase in Californian electric car salesmay be a sign of much, much bigger things to come.
